Edward Enninful On His Role As Editor
EDWARD ENNINFUL is in the building. The building being Vogue House, of course. Today marks his first day as editor-in-chief of British Vogue, a role he said is "truly a dream come true".
"I grew up reading British Vogue - I am so honoured and humbled to be taking up the mantle of editor," he told us. "I realise I am stepping into the shoes of a hugely respected editor in the shape of Alexandra Shulman, someone who has chosen to leave at the top of their game with a legacy of 25 years of success."

The September issue of Vogue is often regarded as the most significant of the year but this year's is particularly poignant.
The new issue of the fashion bible, which is released this week, is the the final edition to be edited by Alexandra Shulman, whose replacement, Edward Enninful, took his position at the helm of the magazine on Tuesday.
The historical September cover is themed around Vogue's 'past, present and future', and features models Nora Attal, Edie Campbell, Jean Campbell, Kate Moss and Stella Tennant.
